This news has been out for some time, but for those who may not have heard it…Red Hot Chili Peppers regretfully announced that they had to postpone the start of their upcoming U.S. tour due to multiple foot injuries sustained by lead singer Anthony Kiedis.
Kiedis recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot and is expected to make a full recovery.
Tickets for the postponed March 2 show at Jobing.com arena will be honored at the newly rescheduled show on Sept. 25
The band is touring in support of current Grammy-nominated album I’m With You.
Tickets on sale now at Ticketmaster and the venue box office.
