A small chihuahua, so petrified after he was tossed out the window of a passing vehicle near 61st Ave. and Indian School Road in Phoenix, was euthanized on Tuesday by veterinarians at the Arizona Humane Society reported abc15.com.
The dog was caught in a rope collar and became pinned between a wall and a palm tree. He suffered from a fractured pelvis, spinal fracture, and diminished use of his back legs.
Witness Jarvis Johnson found the dog, and he and other neighbors tried to help, but the dog was so scared and in such pain, all he could do was snap at everyone.
According to myfoxphoenix.com, everyone was so upset and couldn't understand how anyone could do such a heinous deed. Johnson stated:
"It was just sad 'cause I have two dogs of my own. And for somebody to do something like that to an animal.. I just couldn't image nothing like that... "We hear about it all the time that things happen.. but until you actually see it with your own eyes.. until you actually experience something like that.. it's just sad, you know."
There are no leads as to whom the owner of the dog is or the driver of the van who threw the dog out of the window. Please help this little dog find justice even in his death by calling the Phoenix Police Department at (602)-262-6151 or Silent Witness at 480WITNESS.
