They are one of the highest honors a local business can receive from the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce (www.phoenixchamber.com) and now the finalists for the 2014 IMPACT Awards have been chosen. This is the 27th year the awards have been presented, testimony to the importance each year of the business honor.
The Chamber will recognize two recipients in each of four different categories: community champion, economic driver, entrepreneurial excellence and response to adversity. The Business of the Year will be selected from the honorees and announced at a stellar luncheon on Thursday, May 15 at the Arizona Biltmore. The 2014 finalists are:
Small to medium businesses with 250 employees or less

· Native American Connections
· NJOY, Inc.
· Risas Dental and Braces
· Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen)
Large businesses with more than 250 employees
· The Core Institute
· National Bank of Arizona
· Phoenix Children’s Hospital
· The Phoenix Zoo
· Snell and Wilmer
· Sundt Construction, Inc.
· Wells Fargo
“These companies continue to set new standards that positively impact the greater Phoenix business community and we are proud to recognize the achievements of these outstanding organizations,” said Todd Sanders, Chamber President and CEO. Tickets for the IMPACT Awards event are $75 for chamber members and $85 for non-members. Tables of ten are $850 for members and $950 for non-members.
