On Feb. 5 the French alternative rock band Phoenix announced headlining tour dates for the spring of 2013. The North American tour begins March 28 in Vancouver, British Columbia and ends on May 11 with their performance at the Sweetlife Festival.
During Phoenix's spring 2013 North American tour the band will perform 11 shows over a six week time span. They will perform seven headlining concerts as well as at the Coachella Music Festival, New Orleans Jazz Fest, and Sweetlife Festival.
Phoenix will be touring in support of their upcoming fifth studio album, "Bankrupt!" which is set to be released in the spring of 2013. The band has yet to reveal an official release date for the album. It will be Phoenix's first full length studio album released since "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" in 2009.
Pre-sale tickets for all of their headlining tour dates go on sale beginning Jan. 7 and tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Feb. 8. Mac DeMarco will open for Phoenix on all of the non-festival tour dates.
