Phish announces Labor Day run in Colorado

Phish has just announced that it will finish it's touring for the summer and fall in Commerce City, Colorado for a three day run at Dick's Sporting Goods Park over Labor Day Weekend (September 2-4).

On-site camping will be offered and tickets will go on sale to the public on June 4 at 10 a.m. The pre-sale is currently underway, and goes until May 23 at noon.

Dick's Sporting Goods Park fits 26,000 people for concerts and is the home of the Colorado Rapids soccer team. It is also the location of the Mile High Festival held between August 14 and 15.

It has surely been a strange time leading up to this summer tour. There has been plenty of speculation from various "sources" about dates, but according to Phish.com, these will be the last dates announced for the summer and fall. However, this does not rule out a possible winter run.

Dates had been circulating about the possiblity of a return to the east coast, with rumors about Governor's Island and SPAC in New York. There were also rumors about Hartford and Jones Beach. Apparently not. Now, it seems like this is it for the summer.

Sources from Colorado have been contacting us for the past month saying that the Colorado Labor Day dates were set in stone. However, to avoid a mishap of being completely and utterly wrong, we waited to print the dates until they were announced by Phish.
