Chihuly chandalier, Caroline Ydstie 9/4/2009

Phipps Conservatory is keeping an assortment of Frabel and Chihuly glass as permanent fixtures mixed in with the botanical gardens. It really is quite an amazing display of glasswork and plants which I find quite unique. Chihuly himself designed several of the pieces you see in these pictures specifically for Phipps, in hopes that they would remain in the Conservatory even after the exhibit was ove I hope you enjoy the pictures!
