The 2010 Hispanic Choice Awards (HCA) nominees have been selected and it is an amazing group. The winners will be announced live at the annual awards ceremony to be held on Thursday October 14, 2010 at the Kimmel center for the Performing Arts. The Hispanic Choice Awards honors and celebrates Latino individuals, organizations and businesses as chosen by the Latino community. The three-month long nomination process all starts on phillyhca.com. However, those who don't have access to the internet were able to fax and mail in their nominations.

As you can tell from the above nominations, the Philadelphia HCA's produce an amazing show which also include great performances. Remember, the festivities begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. with a red carpet entry followed by a VIP reception entitled FANTASIA. The concept for this party is the circus and the people there will find big surprises and a fashion show with New York designer Larissa Muehleder who will exhibit a contemporary and colorful collection. This will be a great way to close off HIspanic Heritage Month...highlighting our community.

they are having proyecto uno perform at the after party of 2010 HISPANIC CHOICE AWARDS, but that is not Proyecto uno on the flyer......that is a the fake Proyecto uno going around trying to pass as the group..........i was in NYC Nokia theater last week with the real Proyecto uno @ Daddy Yankee concert..........???????/
Sorry, but you are being deceived and misinformed. Proyecto Uno was founded and created by Nelson Zapata, (who performed in philadelphia). Do a little research before making such statements. He is the only person ever given sole trademark status for the name and the only one that has been there from day one, since it was his concept and he named it Proyecto Uno. Do a web search and look for proyecto uno legal dispute and new members or go to http://mediaforcecommunications.com/ . The performance last night was excellent, I am sure they will be back here in Phily soon.

You and the HCA are doing a great job of support Local Latino artist. I hope more organization, people and companies support the arts. Latino artist like César Viveros has taken art and Latino art to new levels. I encourage everyone to come out to our exhibits and shows.
