Philly police need your help with a fatal hit and run

Take a look at the video that accompanies this article. Have you seen this vehicle ? The driver is wanted for leaving the scene of an accident at Island Ave. and Lindbergh Blvd in southwest Philadelphia. The vehicle could be anywhere.

The incident took place on Jan. 6 2014. Police just released this video today, Jan. 9 2014. The vehicle hit 60 year old Leslie Smith from the 8100 block of Pontiac Ave and did not stop. The car was heading towards the airport. Damage is expected to be on the front and possibly the windshield. Auto body shops are on the lookout. It is described as a red car with blacktop. The right front hubcap is missing.

If you know who owns the vehicle you are urged to contact Philadelphia Police @ (215) 685-3180. you do not have to give your name. This is the direct number to the Accident Investigation Division , who are handling this investigation.
