Philly Future Track Program provides job opportunities for young adults

I recently received information on a program for Philadelphia residents between the ages of 18-24. The Philly Future Track Program is accepting applications but you must act fast, as the program is scheduled to start January 14th 2013.

The new Philly Future Track program provides job-skill training and real-world work experience. To qualify you must be eligible to work in the U.S. and a Philadelphia resident. Applicants are encouraged to be between the ages of 18-24 in order to maximize program benefits.

Philly Future Trackers will work in teams to clean and beautify our streets, while attending regular classes to improve your job prospects for the future.

THE PROGRAM
Team members will participate in a 6-month, paid program consisting of 5 workdays (including career readiness training).

THE PROCESS
To apply, print out an application here. All applications must be filled out completely and dropped off in the Philly Future Track drop box located in the first floor lobby of the Municipal Services Building (1401 JFK Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19102 - across from City Hall). Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis - so timely responses are encouraged. Selected applicants will be expected to begin work/training on Monday, January 14, 2013 or shortly thereafter on a rolling admission basis.
