New Jersey is Philly’s geographic neighbor. It doesn’t hurt that this next door neighbor can offer us great beaches for our summer vacations.
Ask any Philly resident what shore they visit and you will a variety of answers. Some like to go to Atlantic City for some gambling and others like the homey feel of Ocean City. It doesn’t matter where your favorite shore town is located the New Jersey Sea Grant wants to know.
They have started their 5th Annual New Jersey’s Top 10 Survey. For the past five years they have given shore lovers a chance to speak up and tell the world where they like to vacation among the 48 Jersey Shore communities.
The things to consider in your vote can be your favorite place for a long stay, day trip and even who you think is doing better at helping the environment in their area.
These marketing surveys are fun for us in Philly but they have the potential to mean big bucks. The towns that win will have bragging rights to tell everyone in their marketing and advertising for the entire summer.
The winner is announced on May 24th, just in time for the Memorial Day weekend and official kick off for summer. You can vote here to tell the world who you want to win.
