Phillip Phillips performs 'Gone, Gone, Gone' live on 'American Idol' (Photos)

On March 14 singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips performed his single "Gone, Gone, Gone" live on the FOX reality show, "American Idol". His performance was during the elimination episode in which Curtis Finch, Jr. was cut from the show. For the performance Phillips performed on a dimly lit stage with a full backing band. The song "Gone, Gone, Gone" is the second single from Phillip Phillips' debut studio album, "The World from the Side of the Moon". The album was released on Nov. 19, 2012 via Interscope Records and it debuted at No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

This spring he is touring around North America in support of the album, and you can view all official tour dates here. Phillips is no stranger to the "American Idol" stage because in May of 2012 he won the eleventh season. During next week's elimination round Jessica Sanchez will perform "Tonight" with Ne-Yo.
