Phillip Phillips announces first solo cross Canada tour

Phillip Phillips will be winding his way across Canada this winter.

According to a news release posted Jan 21 at AEGLive.com, the 2012 American Idol winner will embark on his first ever Canadian solo tour this March, hitting 14 cities coast to coast.

Touring in support of his Platinum selling debut studio album, 2012's "The World From The Side of the Moon," the "Home" hitmaker will kick off the trek March 8 in Halifax, NS at Dartmouth Sportsplex and wrap up March 28 in Vancouver, BC at Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena.

March 11 Montreal, QC - Place des Arts
March 12 Ottawa, ON - National Arts Centre
March 14 Toronto, ON - Sony Centre for Perf Arts
March 15 Kingston, ON - Rogers K-Rock Centre
March 16 Hamilton, ON - Hamilton Place Theatre
March 20 Winnipeg, MB - Burton Cummings Theatre
March 21 Regina, SK- Brandt Centre
March 23 Saskatoon, SK - TCU Place
March 24 Calgary, AB - Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium
March 25 Edmonton, AB - Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium
March 27 Kamloops, BC- Interior Savings Centre

Tickets go on sale Fri., Jan. 24 at AXS.com, as well as local box offices.

Guest artists on all dates will be Winnipeg, MB roots rocker sibling duo Dugas.
