On Tuesday, a sheriff’s spokesman said that the bone fragment found near Phillip Garrido’s home is ‘probably human.’ "We will be requesting the state to see if it can develop a DNA profile on the fragment. It should be noted that it is not uncommon to find Native American remains in Contra Costa County," he said, and CNN reported.
After Phillip Garrido was arrested in the Jaycee Dugard kidnapping case, the police searched his home and surrounding areas that Garrido had access to for possible connections to other unsolved crimes, according to CNN.
Business associates of Phillip Garrido say he not exactly what he seems to be, and that Jaycee Dugard and her daughters were not treated as badly as the media portrays. Click here for more on that story.
The police have been looking into several other kidnapping cases that they believe Garrido may have been involved. The police released a statement last week about a 14-year-old girl that was allegedly raped by Garrido and for which he was arrested.
