If you intend on going to the Philadelphia Home Show, you will have to wait until next weekend, Jan 25 and 26. It no longer runs the entire week at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. It is a bit smaller than other years but that should not dissuade you if you were thinking of going.

Inside, there are numerous booths that can help guide you to the right path for your project.from electrical work, to roofers, and HVAC contractors, it is all there. Most want to take your name and have someone come out to help you with a big project.

One vendor was there giving hearing tests. It was very important, but you must keep in mind you are in a noisy environment and that could hinder you from hearing some tones during the test. Some booths have demonstrations that are being carried out by people that do it for a living. They are trying to sell you a product. When you try to replicate the person doing the demonstration, your results may vary.

At certain times, some DIY demonstrations from people that appear on tv are there to meet with you.. Go to the official website to find out when and where they will appear.

Just about everything is available there, from distributors that will sell you what you need to get your project done,to contractors that do everything for you.
