When you make a late season charge, people take notice.
As is the case with the Philadelphia Flyers who have caught fire at the right time to move into third place in the Metropolitan Division, trailing the New York Rangers by one point with a game in-hand. The Flyers are 6-1-1 in their last eight games and 7-2-1 in their last 10 games.
With the solid play comes more eyes. The team announced on Monday their game on March 30th against the Boston Bruins at the Wells Fargo Center originally slated to begin at 7:30 pm has been moved to 12:30 pm as NBC’s Game of the Week.
This is the second time in the last week the Flyers have been moved to NBC’s Game of the Week as their game Sunday in Pittsburgh was moved to 12:30 pm as well.
With the playoff race heating up the Philadelphia-Boston matchup will not lack storylines. When the Bruins come around on March 30th, they will be featuring a familiar face as Andrej Meszaros faces his former team for the first time.
