Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders: Paris Jackson should audition when she's 18

Paris Jackson -- yes, that Jackson -- who recently showed off both pom-poms in a Twitter image and cheerleading video, is already under the watchful eye of pro squads. The Philadelphia Eagles cheerleading squad said on Monday that they think she has what it takes to join the former Liberty Belles.

Eagles cheerleader-leader Barbara Zaun said that she watched the video (embedded) of 14-year-old Paris Jackson cheering on her prep school's (Sherman Oaks (California) Buckley School) varsity boys basketball team. She said:

We think Paris will make a great Eagle cheerleader! We thought that she had a lot of poise, confidence, and enthusiasm in her cheer performance. Paris has that "wow factor" that makes a great cheerleader.

She is at least four birthdays away from an appearance as a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader. The team requires members to be at least 18 years of and have a high school diploma.

Still, Zaun said that when Jackson is ready to don the Eagles Cheerleaders outfit, the squad would be more than happy to give her an audition. No, not even the daughter of Michael Jackson gets signed without a tryout. Still, Zaum added,

The Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders features 38 members, and debuted in 1948 as the Eaglettes. In the 1970s, they became the Liberty Belles, and became the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders in the 1980s.

The squad holds annual auditions at the Kimmel Center each April, with the final auditions being aired on PhiladelphiaEagles.com. Unlike most other NFL cheerleading squads, it also releases a swimsuit calendar,
