Phil Robertson suspended by A&E for homophobic remarks

See also

Phil Robertson made some comments showing that he is homophobic today and it did not make A&E happy. At first they were not speaking out about it at all, but now they are showing how they feel. On Dc. 18, Gossip Cop reported that Phil has now been suspended!

Phil admitted that he thinks that being gay is a sin, but he went further than that and said some hateful things. He later apologized but that doesn't seem enough to make the show happy with him. Tonight A&E finally spoke out saying, "“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely."

That means that the show must go on but it will be going on without Phil Robertson for now. He will have to find a way to convince A&E that he deserves to be on the show and that this can be fixed. It could end up hurting ratings for the show. Fans were shocked to hear him speak out this way.
