Phil Mickelson has had a roller coaster ride of emotion in 2009 with his wife and mother both being diagnosed with breast cancer.  Mickelson has been a heart felt favorite all year long and has also been consistent only missing two cuts this year and notching two tour wins at the Northern Trust Open and the CA Championship. He narrowly missed winning the US Open as well this year.  Mickelson has faired well in the FedEx Cup playoffs in years past which included a win at the 2007 Deutsche Bank Championship. Mickelson has more important things to be worrying about off the course, but expect him to be in contention for the FedEx Cup on the course.
