Pharrell Williams predicts Hillary Clinton voted next President in 2016

Pharrell Williams is not just a music genius, he likes to talk politics too. On March 25, MSNBC reported on Pharrell's prediction that Hillary Clinton would become the next President of the United States. He said it without hesitation too.

Pharrell is confident that women's rights will play a huge part in the 2016 presidential election. He explained in a recent interview with GQ magazine that women want control of their own body despite their political affiliation. Pharrell said, "Hillary’s gonna win. Listen, I’m reaching out to her right now. She’s gonna win."

The Oscar nominated producer went on to say that he also predicted Obama's win when no one believed him. He obviously stays informed and involved politically but it might be a bit early to make predictions regarding the next POTUS. For starters, Hillary Clinton has not agreed to run yet. Additionally, there is no telling who the Republican hopefuls might be.

There is also nothing to support the idea that Republican women would vote for Hillary Clinton based on a women's rights campaign. Conservative women actually tend not to support legalized abortion and probably would not vote for Hillary Clinton unless the Republican candidate was so grossly anti-woman that the conservative women couldn't stand their own candidate. Conservatives may vote for their candidate based on other factors like economic policies or Constitutional rights and not even give abortion laws as much weight.

That said, Hillary Clinton is still very popular. Bill Clinton's economic policies are highly respected and Hillary's tenure as Secretary of State was successful. Pharrell is right when he says that Hillary did a great job. One can also speculate that she did not reprise her role as Secretary of State so she could take the time to prepare for a Presidential run.

What do you think of Pharrell's prediction that Hillary Clinton will be President? Do you think she will even run? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
