On April 28, 2014, Pharrell Williams attended a private event to celebrate his new capsule collection for Uniqlo UT called "i am OTHER." The party was held at the Uniqlo store on Fifth Avenue, which is the largest Uniqlo store in the world. Pharrell was rocking his shirt which defined "other," distressed jeans, a Chanel belt, grey sweater and brown hat. He was joined by his friend Uniqlo UT's creative director Nigo, who he has a tremendous amount of respect for.

Other notables who attended the event included Williams' wife Helen Lasichanh, Vashtie, designers Dee and Ricky, André Leon Talley and stylist Phillip Bloch. Guests were served mini hamburgers, french fries, summer rolls, mozzarella and tomato and mini chicken quesadillas amongst other snacks. In addition to champagne, wine and vodka lemonade, guests also sipped on Oprah Chai, green tea and passion tea complements of Starbucks.

Pharrell graciously chatted with guests and posed for photos. He also was photographed in front of his collection. He also autographed a few of his shirts. The collection consists of 26 styles, with inspirational and empowering messages like "That Which Makes You Different Is What Makes You Special." The collection's color palette includes tan, grey, black, white and green. There is something for everyone. André Leon Talley was spotted rocking two of the caps from the collection. It was a fabulous party and each guest left with their very own Uniqlo x i am OTHER t-shirt.

Another fashion venture, which we recently covered was Pharrell's Bionic Yarn x G-Star Raw Launch. This week, NBC announced that Pharrell and Gwen Stefani will be joining "The Voice." Pharrell also contributed to "The Amazing Spiderman 2," soundtrack and score, which hits theaters this Friday, May 2. In addition on April 29, Pharrell performed at Webster Hall as a part of the Spring Sound Sessions in support of the HTC M8 release.
