No one will forget that crazy looking hat Pharrell Williams wore to the Grammy Awards. The hat sparked many jokes on Twitter and took up much discussion following the special night. One could say that the hat took on a life of its own. According to CBS News on Feb. 21, Pharrell is giving someone the chance to own the hat as he is auctioning if off to raise money for charity.

It has been a big year for the 40-year-old singer/producer and the hat was just part of all the noise surrounding him. The Grammy-winner not only took home multiple Grammy awards but he is also up for an Oscar and performing at the Academy Awards. So now is a good time to raise some money with the hat that has drawn so much attention.

The “Happy” singer has put the Vivienne Westwood “Mountain” hat up for auction on eBay with the proceeds going to benefit One Hand to Another, an organization he founded that helps underserved youth.

The listing for the hat says, “now is your chance to own a piece of pop culture history!” And history has already raised the bidding to $10,500. The auction continues through March 2, the same day he is set to perform at the Oscars.
