Pharrell Williams is issuing an apology to fans after he upset them by wearing an American Indian headdress on the cover of the July issues of Elle UK magazine. On Wednesday, NY Daily News shared about how he is apologizing for upsetting his fans with these pictures. The new coach of "The Voice" never meant to upset anyone.

Fans went to social networks with the tag #nothappy after seeing this magazine cover. They did not like this picture of him at all. Pharrell didn't mean to upset anyone and said, "respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture. I am genuinely sorry." It seems like an honest mistake.

More than likely Pharrell Williams just put on whatever they told him to wear and didn't even think twice about it. He probably doesn't even realize that he would upset someone. He will think twice before doing a photo shoot in the future though. At least he was willing to apologize to fans.
