There are very few songs that have mass appeal from a film, however that's not the story for Pharrell Williams' Oscar nominated song "Happy." Even if you haven't seen the animated film, "Despicable Me 2," you've definitely heard Williams' song "Happy." Despite not winning an Oscar tonight, the song "Happy" will live on as a classic feel good song.
Williams' song has been every where even if he, himself, has not. His song "Happy" became very well known in the commercial for the Beats Mini bluetooth speaker. Then Fiat quickly jumped on the craze with the song in their new Fiat 500L commercial featuring Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Many music artists have taken to the studio to cover the song. One of the vocalists from the group Ten, which appeared on NBC's "The Sing Off" hosted by Nick Lachey, Deonis Cook put his chops on a acapella remix. Even Chicago's Gospel radio station WGRB 1390AM added the song into their music rotation.
To say the least, Pharrell's song is making a lot of people "Happy."
