Phaedra Parks will reportedly sit out of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season seven.

According to a new report, Parks, whose husband, Apollo Nida, was sentenced to eight years behind bars earlier this month, won't be filming the upcoming seventh season of the hit Bravo show, but may return for the show's eighth installment.

"Phaedra Parks won’t be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta next season," The Inquisitr reported on July 28. "The women are getting ready to sign their contracts and film the new season, but Phaedra has decided to skip this season."

In Jan. 2014, Nida made headlines after being accused of stealing the identity of several by starting several companies and setting up bank accounts in their name. During his court appearance earlier this month, Nida, who had previously entered a guilty plea, received an 8-year sentence.

Following his court date, Nida spoke out, claiming to be "salty" over his wife's failure to attend the sentencing and opting to instead spend time on vacation with her girlfriends. According to Nida, he would have liked Parks to be a bit more supportive of his situation.

Parks "won’t be filming this next season, but she hasn’t been fired by Bravo and she hasn’t quit," the site continued. "There is a possibility for a return for the following season, which would be the eighth season."

Over the weekend, Media Take Out reported that Parks had served Nida with divorce papers and thrown him out of their home.

"Phaedra and Apollo had their issues, even before he got caught up [in his legal drama]," their source explained. "Phaedra is a good and loving woman and she tried to stand by him, honor, and hold him down."
