Phaedra Parks is reportedly staying aboard "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" for season seven.

A short time after reports claimed the mother of two would be stepping back from her role on the show a new source is speaking out, alleging that Parks will continue on with the show for the upcoming season -- and that her husband, Apollo Nida, will be joining her.

"Phaedra Parks is back at work -- shooting episodes for the new season -- and rumors that she's taking a leave of absence are NOT true," sources confirmed to TMZ on July 28. "We're told Phaedra and Apollo have been filming for almost a month -- trying to shoot as much as possible before he begins serving his 8-year prison sentence for money fraud."

Earlier this month, Nida appeared in court, where he addressed the fraud charges that had been brought against him in January of this year and was dealt an eight-year sentence. During his appearance, Nida was alone. Meanwhile, his wife, Parks, was celebrating the birthday of her close friend, Fantasia Barrino, with others, including Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, who appear alongside Parks and Nida on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

According to the TMZ source, Parks and Nida's story line for season seven will be based around Nida's conviction "and the upheaval it's caused in their relationship ... a relationship that appears to be on the brink of divorce."

Although Media Take Out reported that Parks had filed for divorce last week, neither Parks nor Nida have confirmed the news.
