Phaedra Parks will soon be living alone. According to a new report, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star's husband, Apollo Nida, has been ordered to turn himself into prison and begin his eight-year sentence.
Earlier this year, Nida plead guilty to several charges of fraud. Last month, he was dealt with a hefty sentence.
"Phaedra Parks’ husband must surrender himself at the FMC Lexington prison in Lexington, Kentucky, on September 10 at noon," Radar Online reported on Aug. 27. "Though he originally faced up to 30 years in prison, Nida was sentenced to just eight years for fraud and identity theft back in July. He also must pay nearly $2 million in restitution."
In Radar's report, it was stated that Nida had created fake companies, which allowed him access to personal information from "customers." From there, Nida reportedly opened fraudulent bank accounts in those individuals' names. With those accounts, Nida allegedly funneled stolen U.S. Treasury checks and proceeds from auto loans. Nida also reportedly opened a fake car dealership and applied for loans in the stolen names of the individuals.
Parks is currently filming the seventh season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." No word yet on whether or not Nida will appear -- or whether or not his jail sentence will be discussed.
