Phaedra Parks divorce: 'RHOA' star to pull plug on marriage to Apollo Nida?

Rumors that Phaedra Parks is divorcing husband, Apollo Nida, has reached fever pitch as enough drama to sink a battleship unfolds on "Real Housewives of Atlanta." While nothing has been solidly confirmed in the divorce department for Parks and Nida, it's not looking good for the fiery couple.

According to E! News in a July 28 report, multiple sources tell them that their marriage is in trouble. One sources describes it as being on "very shaky ground right now." Phaedra is taking a little time off to focus on family. As TMZ reports, the "southern belle" of "RHOA" isn't going anywhere. It's unknown what exactly she's doing, it's just evident she's using the time for family issues. Could she be filing divorce papers and the drama won't be shown until the show airs late Fall?

A source tells E! News:

"Phaedra is trying to keep everything contained and protect her kids, which is why she's taking time off from the show. She does not want their ordeal shown on TV."

The sources believe that Nida is not on the same page as his wife.

"He has not been showing her the same respect. He's been filming a lot. He's been out and about and trying to be seen as much as possible before he goes to jail. Right now, he's not exactly sure when that will be so he's living it up while he can."

Clearly the two aren't seeing eye-to-eye on being discreet in their marital problems. Phaedra has kept quiet while Apollo is out getting all the exposure he can before serving his eight-year sentence on bank fraud and identity theft. He's "salty" over Phaedra not appearing at his sentencing and is bitter about her lack of support.

A source told Hollywood Life recently that Phaedra would have filed for divorce from Apollo a long time ago if they didn't have children, but the fact he's in serious trouble again might "push" her to do it this time.

Will Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida really get divorced?

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 7 airs this Fall on Bravo Sunday nights.
