Colorful outfits, baby blues and one heck of a golfer; Rickie Fowler has single-handedly made golf "cool". Known for his PUMA flat bill and unique style on the course, this heartthrob has created a following of not only die hard PGA fans, but the younger generation as well.

Fowler got quite the birthday present when he shot an outstanding 66 on his 25th birthday, Friday, December 13 in the "Thailand Golf Championship". spoke with a humble and excited Rickie after the finish of the second round; and Fowler opened up on being one of the most talented and popular young golfers on the PGA tour.

KT: Wow, what an amazing finish on your birthday! How are you feeling right now?

RF: "Honestly, so grateful for all who have wished me a happy birthday and I really just worked hard and had a really good round that happened to be played on my 25th!"

KT: Well congratulations and well deserved! Now many of your fans know you for being "the cool guy" on the course; not to mention one of the best and youngest PGA tour players in the world. We want to let fans know things they may not know about THE Rickie Fowler.

RF: (laughs) uh oh! Ask away!

KT: Ok, What is your favorite vacation spot when you just want time to relax?

RF: "That is tough, I have been lucky to visit so many places but I would have to say my favorite vacation spot would be Bakers Bay in the Bahamas. It is beautiful and so relaxing; I love the beach."

KT: Well being from California and living in Florida you have to like the beach! Hypothetical question: If you were on a deserted island and you could only bring 3 things what would they be?

RF: "Easy, a knife, hooks, and matches"

KT: Sounds like you have thought about this before!

RF: (laughs) maybe.

KT: Golf is pretty much your life; but if you weren't playing golf, what would you be doing?

RF: "I couldn't imagine my life without golf but if for some reason I couldn't play, I would be involved in the action sports world in one way or another"

KT: Which action sport is your favorite?

RF: "I really love them all and love to ride bikes. I look forward to the X-Games every year!"

KT: You better be careful on those bikes!

RF: "I always am!"

KT: Ok, who is your all time favorite actor?

RF: "Will Ferrell, everything he does is absolutely hysterical; I love comedies."

KT: That he is! Do you like to read and if so what is your favorite book?

RF: "I love to read, it relaxes me a lot. My favorite book is Jesus Judah Smith"

KT: I agree, that is a great read! Very inspirational. Speaking of inspiration, who has been your biggest inspiration in your life?

RF: "My family. They are the greatest and always stand behind me and cheer me on. I am so blessed to have a family that supports me and lifts me up if I am ever feeling down. My mom and sister travel with me a lot of the time so that is really cool"

KT: That is so great you get to have people from home come along with you on your journey! So which PGA player is the most fun to play with on the course?

RF: "Bubba, he is the funniest guy and is always cracking me up. He is great to be around because he is a great reminder to never take things too seriously."

KT: He is really fun to watch play too! Do you have any superstitions before a tournament?

RF: "Nothing crazy but I have to rep my college, Oklahoma State (OSU) whenever I play because that was definitely a huge reason why I am here now!"

KT: At least people will never forget where you went to college! One last question. Since you have really drawn in a new generation of golf fans, what would be one piece of advice you would give aspiring PGA tour players?

RF: "Follow your dreams, work hard and never give up. Hard work plus the passion and drive will get you wherever you want to be."

KT: That's great advice. Thank you so much for speaking with me Rickie and congratulations on your stellar round and good luck with the rest of the tournament! Oh and happy happy birthday!

RF: "Thank you so much! Nice to talk to you!"
