OK Colorado fight fans, Prize Fighting Championships (PFC) is back again baby and this time they are bringing THRILLERS!.... PFC 4 will provide yet another dazzling fight card with all of the familiar names & faces you’ve come to know and love. We get to see the return of many Colorado studs that have been waiting patiently in the wings for the big call by promoter, Seth Daniels…and as always, these guys never disappoint!
PFC Lightweight Champion and one of the most exciting fighters in the country, Tony Simms will be taking on TUF veteran and freakish MMA athlete, Drew Dober in the main event. Both of these guys have unbelievable skills, serious power and amazing experience at high levels. Simms has been on an absolute tear as of lately, and has thrashed his last 3 opponents within the first round. Let’s face it…Dober is an absolute beast and this Main Event is going to have Magness Arena’s roof bouncing off the place. Simms will definitely be looking to continue his impressive streak of fantastic finishes to finally make that coveted leap into the biggest of stages in MMA that he absolutely deserves, but Dober will undoubtedly have other plans in mind for our Colorado killer.
The Co-Main event is this Examiner’s pick for Fight of the Night. This fight matches the super talented welterweight and former Strikeforce vet, Tyler Stinson as he takes on the super tough and very talented giant in the 170 lb class, Chino Montoya. Both of these guys are absolute killers and this fight should be nothing short of pure fireworks! Both of these guys are prolific fighters with outstanding power for this division, and both guys will be looking to make a definitive statement in this fight too….don’t blink because these guys are going to put on a hellatious show.
We also get to see the return of one of Colorado’s favorite “blood N guts” warriors as Jason “The Dragon” Lee will tangle with Colorado military hero and willing mixed martial artist, Verne “The Wolf” Earwood in the 185 lbs class. This will be Verne’s first fight at 185 lbs since his days in the Marine Corps. Both of these endeared men will bring the heat and both men will be looking to entertain the crowd as they always do….don’t miss this one, because this one “ain’t goin the distance”!
Word on the streets is that Josh "SUPERMAN" Cavan will make his long awaited return to the Colorado cages as he scraps it out with the ultra-tough, Ryan Braun. Cavan will have a lot to prove to the crowd, but even more to himself and Ryan Braun is probably the toughest test Cavan could’ve taken. This fight is going to be explosive and a huge story for both guys. The excitement is in the air, and the fighters are itching to get after it…..will Braun be Cavan’s kryptonite…or will the Man of Steel come through? Come check it out on Friday night for yourself!!
Truthfully speaking, this entire card is amazing. We know that you recognize the fighter’s names, but many of these guys on this card have needed the right kind of match-ups to to make enormous leaps in their careers with a big win. As we all know in MMA….styles make fights and these match-ups are awesome! These kinds of cards and fights are the kind we know that make our Colorado MMA brothers & sisters pack the house!
