Peyton Manning among three Indianapolis Colts ranked in top 10 at their positions in Madden 2010

Some of the player rankings for EA Sports' Madden 2010 game are out, and perhaps not surprisingly, Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning is the game's top-rated quarterback.

And for Colts fans who are Madden players, there's more good news:

Manning's not the only highly-rated Colts position player.

While Manning is the only Colts player rated No. 1 at his position, three-time Pro Bowl selection Reggie Wayne is the fifth-rated wide receiver. And although Colts TE Dallas Clark has yet to make a Pro Bowl, the developers at EA respect him enough to make him the fourth-rated tight end.

Manning was given a 99 rating, the highest possible and one point ahead of New England Patriots QB Tom Brady. Wayne was given a 95 rating, with Clark at 91.

Here's a look at the Top 10 at each skill position. Let me know what you think:

Quarterbacks

1. Peyton Manning, 99

6. Clinton Portis, 93
7. Steven Jackson, 92

T9. Thomas Jones, 90

Wide Receivers

1. Larry Fitzgerald, 99

3. Steve Smith, 97
4. Randy Moss, 96
5. Reggie Wayne, 95
T6. Anquan Boldin, 94

Defense

T1. Nnamdi Asomugha, 99
T1. Albert Haynesworth, 99
T1. Ed Reed, 99
T1. Troy Polamalu, 99
T5. Patrick Willis, 98
T5. Jared Allen, 98
T5. DeMarcus Ware, 98
T8. Kevin Williams, 97
T8. Ray Lewis, 97
T8. Julius Peppers, 97

I agree with Manning as the No. 1 quarterback, and Wayne and Clark are about right, too. I do wonder how Colts S Bob Sanders can be ranked under Reed and Polamalu unless injuries are factored in. I also wonder, too, at putting Ray Lewis at 97 and not having Colts DE Dwight Freeney or Sanders with a rating at least that high.

Dwight is ranked the 6th best 4-3 RE and Mathis is the 3rd best 4-3 LE, Also Raheem brock is the 4th best 4-3 LE. Also Bob Sanders is tied for the 4th best saftey with Michael Griffin, Ed Reed,Polamalu, and Adrian Wilson? are rated ahead of him, I read somewhere thought that his injuries are the reason he is not as high as the other
