Pets want a "Home for the Holidays" - and all it takes is $12

Adult pets in numerous south SF Bay Area animal shelters are on sale this holiday season, with adoption prices being lowered to only $12 as part of the "Home for the Holidays" program. There is no shortage of choices, as there are about 1200 pets available for adoption at this price, which is in some cases reduced by over $100.

Participating shelters include San Jose Animal Care Center, Humane Society of Silicon Valley, Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority, Palo Alto Animal Services, Santa Clara County Animal Care and Control, and Town Cats.
