A moment in time only comes once in life
Today holds a very important moment
Today is the day that we are asking you to take a simple step forward
A moment in time to perform an act of care and concern regarding your amazing, loving, dedicated furry family members well being.
Every single moment your pet/s just love you, every single moment they breathe in the life around them and just live for that moment with you.
They count on you for absolutely everything and they trust that you will always keep them safe and secure, healthy and well and make all the right decisions.
With this comes a heavy weight at times: Decisions
We are all familiar with a visit to our Vet’s office, be it a regular check up, health crisis or emergency.
If you are fortunate you have experienced a pet with good health and life is good.
If you are not so fortunate then you have been thru the storms of crisis, when “big decisions” must be made and this is a confusing, scary and heavy burden.
Medicine/Health Care be it for humans or animals has for many been regarded as something “written in stone”, words ,expressions, diagnosis and recommendations are discussed that for the most part we do not understand.
Yet for most we go along with what we are advised, as we value a professional opinion and that is considered the norm.
While “yes” we need and respect our professional’s advice, it is no longer considered the norm to walk away and do as we are told.
This is your or your pet’s life we are talking about and we must be informed and responsible.
We are exposed to more options than every before, in every sense of the word.
We can type in a word on our computer and a whole new world is exposed to us, a world that allows us to educate ourselves about a diagnosis or medication or treatment plan. From the simple to the complicated.
We can learn the definition of a diagnosis, a treatment or even what a drug does and all the pros and cons.
We can literally gain a pretty clear insight about what we are dealing with in minutes. (Note: not making us experts, but rather informed patients or guardians of patients)
When we broaden our education, we are then capable of making better decisions or at least “asking more questions”, digging deeper before we walk forward with blindfolds on.
I love this, as it allows you to truly take the responsibility of your health and well being or your pets into your own hands, right or wrong and feel more confident about your path with “knowledge”.
With knowledge other doors open called “alternatives” and as you open those doors you may just find that there are other options than the “norm”, options that have been around since the beginning of time, known as “Healing Alternatives”
Alternatives that when integrated with regular health care may just be the “E Ticket” and make the ride so much more effective.
We are blessed with so many options in our lives in these times and the reason this is possible is because there are special people out there, that do not settle for the norm, that want to open new doors, that want to find cures to ease the unpleasant things in life that present themselves to us and our pets.
People who just know there is more than what the eye can see.
In the animal world I am referring to the American Holistic Veterinarian Medical Foundation. A dedicated, passionate group of professionals that want to expand education and options that dedicate their lives to making ours just a bit easier.
As with any research and educational foundations, they need continued support to work miracles and today I am asking you to take just one step in making a difference toward the future for our pet’s health and well being.
We need to be in the moment,
