The holiday’s are over and it’s time to settle in for the winter. If you’ve been considering adding a pet to your family, there is no time like the present for you to find a new friend. There are many cats and dogs in local shelters and rescues needing homes. Here are some bonded pairs and some cats that have been waiting awhile for a family.
Faith and Finn are a pair of young adult siblings that started life on the mean streets of Chicago. They were eventually trapped and brought into the foster care program for Chicago Cat Rescue where they have flourished. Finn loves to wrestle with his sister and drag race down the hall and Faith loves to play with her brother and stalk flying toys. Both cats love to be loved and Finn is quite the lap cat while Faith just loves a good belly rub.
DeDe and Juno lost their home when their owner moved and was going to leave them behind in her apartment. At the last minute, she relinquished them to the rescue. Juno is full of mischief and is ever the entertainer while DeDe is a bit more reserved. Both kitties are high energy and love to play hard then create their own kitty pile built for two. They love attention and cuddle times with their humans as well.
Email their foster mom at cindy@chicagocatrescue.org to find out more about this wonderful pair.
