Pets Alive creates video masterpiece “Downton Tabby”

Parody doesn’t get any better than this. Especially for cat lovers who also like the Masterpiece hit series Downton Abbey.

No-kill animal rescue Pets Alive created “Downton Tabby,” a clever shot-by-shot video remake of the Downton Abbey opening credits.

Actors are replaced by Pets Alive’s own adoptable cats. Scenes include the familiar bell, dinner plate, vase and feather duster.

They may not be as “catty” as some characters on the show, but lots of nice cats (dogs and horses, too) are available for adoption on the Pets Alive Facebook page.

Give the Downton Tabby cats a chance, and consider adopting.

Pets Alive is located in Middleton, New York, in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, about an hour and a half from New York City.

Pets Alive YouTube video is here.
