A trip to Metro Animal Care Services and Kentucky Humane Society in Louisville this week revealed that both facilities are inundated with cats and dogs. What happens when they run out of space? A call goes out to foster parents.
That call went out this week in order to free up space for in coming cats and dogs. The more foster parents available--the fewer animals that have to be euthanized.
Please! If you have the room in your heart and home to foster an animal, call Louisville Metro Animal Care Services or Kentucky Humane Society:

Fostering - and volunteering - is a wonderful experience. Here's a story I wrote on Phinney's Friends, an organization that helps low-income people keep their pets when going through hardships.
