Petrified spaniels in desperate need surrendered to animal control

In a most desperate situation, three spaniels are all who remain of a large family after the death of their elderly owner. Sent to an animal shelter in Georgia, the others have already been euthanized; the survivors are confused, scared, and extremely depressed.

At this time, it is not known how socialized the dogs are which precludes them from being available for adoption, however Angels Among Us Pet Rescue has offered to help, but will need financial help to ensure the dogs are properly vetted, neutered, or spayed if needed.

As a volunteer entered to take photographs of the remaining three dogs, the brown and white spaniel especially broke her heart:

"This poor soul seems to to be sooooo scared. She was lying on the floor of her kennel - cowering. When we opened the door, she never moved - nor did she growl, show teeth or try to run away. We didn't want to push her into a situation where she may "fear bite" so we were quiet, took our pic/video and closed her kennel door. As you can see, she looks to be a spaniel mix. Her situation is truly heartbreaking as her time is up and the minutes are ticking. Please...."

The rescue needs to raise the minimum of $150 per dog. If you would like to help, please click here and specify the donation is for the "3 spaniels."
