Fifty-eight wineries will show off their petite sirah wares beneath one roof for one night at the Annual Dark and Delicious Event scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2012. The event, organized by the Petite Sirah Advocacy Group, also offers food from 36 different vendors.

Sacramento wineries represented include Harney Lane Winery, Lava Cap, Michael-David Winery, Berryessa Gap Winery, Bogle Vineyards and Winery, Twisted Oak and Wilson Vineyards.

The event began six years ago and featured 20 wineries and 10 food purveyors. This sixth annual event represents the result of the work of P.S. I Love You, the group’s nickname. Supported by petite sirah producers and loyal fans, the three-hour session offers plenty of wining and dining.

Tickets are $63.00 per person for the evening with plentiful free parking. The event will be held at the Rock Wall Wine Company in Alameda from 6 to 9 p.m.
