Petersen Automotive Museum to celebrate Corvette's 60th anniversary

Petersen Automotive Museum will celebrate the Corvette's 60th anniversary with a multitude of events this March 1st and 2nd.

As one of America's premier auto museums, it makes a perfect match for the Petersen to celebrate the birthday of America's sports car. The museum plans an extensive program that's sure to delight fans of two-seat fiberglass Chevys.

Twenty historic 'Vettes and concept cars will be on display from February 27 through March 31, 2013.

March 1 Events

  • Racing panel discussion: icons of racing talk Corvette history
  • 60th Anniversary Gala: cocktails, dinner, an auction, and a panel discussion

March 2 Events

  • Corvette Day Car Show: 500 historic 'Vettes on display in the parking garage
  • Restoration Seminar: an opportunity to learn tips and techniques from the pros
