What could be better than an afternoon chocolate fix? Bacon. The answer is bacon. So, what’s better than chocolate and bacon together? Absolutely nothing. Saturday, August 31, Peterbrooke Chocolatier of Winter Park will be satisfying sweet and salty cravings all afternoon. From noon to 4pm, Peterbrooke will be hosting its second annual Bacon Bash in honor of International Bacon Day.
Customers can indulge in one-day-only specials like chocolate covered bacon, pistachio bacon brittle, chocolate covered bourbon bacon, bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, bacon chocolate chip cookies, bacon bites (chocolate covered bacon by the ounce), and gelato with bacon toppings. Dessert requests can be shared on Facebook and Twitter #PeterbrookeWPBacon.
All are welcome to stop by the bash, and even vegetarians can enjoy bacon-free Peterbrooke favorites such as the store’s top seller, dark or milk chocolate covered popcorn. Other bacon free options include spicy chili chocolate, sea salt caramels, and more.
