Peter Pan flies into Denver for Colorado Ballet’s high-altitude Neverland

J.M. Barrie’s classic children’s tale of the Darling children and Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up, will be told through dance in Denver when Colorado Ballet presents its production of Peter Pan in 10 performances February 24 through March 4 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

Adults and children of all ages will love this story of eternal youth and innocence. Peter Pan and Tinkerbell guide the children on a flying journey to Neverland for escapades with the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily and the infamous Captain Hook.

The same artistic duo who produced Colorado Ballet’s Dracula—choreographer Michael Pink and composer Philip Feeney—combine their talents again to bring Peter Pan to Denver.

Pink’s Peter Pan premiered with the Milwaukee Ballet in 2010 and now will make its Colorado Ballet debut, complete with new costumes and scenery, high-flying characters and imaginative choreography—all set to Feeney’s original score.
