Peter Gunz of 'Love & Hip Hop' working on marriage to Amina Buddafly

Anyone who watched the season finale of "Love & Hip Hop" knows that Peter Gunz wants his marriage with Amina Buddafly to work. On Feb. 1, Urban Daily reported that Gunz is working even harder to make sure this relationship doesn't fail.

It's hard to imagine that a relationship born out of deceit would be successful but Peter Gunz sounds pretty determined. He began seeing Amina Buddafly while still involved with the mother of his children, Tara Wallace.

In an interview with Vlad TV, Peter Gunz admits that he never really considered marrying Tara. Apparently he doesn't mind starting a family with her but he wasn't interested in putting a ring on it.

Gunz talked about how he is trying to be a better person and have a better relationship with Tara. His children are very obviously important to him and he said he wouldn't be a good father to them if he wasn't treating their mother right. That's very kind of him but where was that sentiment when they were a couple?

Amina Buddafly was at the interview with Peter Gunz but did not say a word. Instead, they sat side by side. Amina protectively hanging on to Peter's shoulder while he sat with his arms crossed, looking rather somber.

It will be interesting to see how this relationship is going to play out. Fans of 'Love & Hip Hop' can tune in to the two-part reunion special airing on VH1 Feb. 3 and Feb. 10.
