Midnight release parties were a huge success! All the Twilight fans that came out got to pick up their very own copy of The Twilight Saga: New Moon early and spend the night with all their favorite characters, especially Bella, Edward and Jacob!

Best Buy Union Square store in New York City (52-64 East 14th St., New York, NY 10003) outdid themselves yet again. For the Michael Jackson's This Is It midnight release they had Kenny Ortega and Travis Payne at the store to sign and take photos with the fans. Now they got Peter Facinelli, who is Edward's father Dr. Carlisle Cullen. He showed up to give all the fans an extra special midnight treat! Fans who lined up early got to attend a meet-and-greet and trivia quiz game with Peter Facinelli. Check out the videos at the bottom of this page. He also pre-signed the The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD version and handed out to purchasing fans. For anything that was not pre-signed, he offered to autograph their copy of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Fans also had a chance to have a photo op moment with him. Check out the slideshow. Thanks to all the hundreds of fans that showed up to enjoy the lovely weather and to band together to support Twilight!

While Best Buy Union Square was a big party celebration, Best Buy Vauxhall in New Jersey had a more musing cultured group of dedicated Twilight fans. The entire staff, including Pedro, Marvin, Monica and many others, was friendly and welcoming fans in the store to sit down and enjoy an early screening of The Twilight Saga: New Moon instead of standing outside on line until midnight. Everyone was excited and midnight could not come soon enough. When it was nearly time, New Year's Eve celebration came all over again as everyone counted down from 10...9...8...7...all the way down to 1! Instead of champagne bottles popping, they handed out copies of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The staff were very well coordinated and everyone was able to get their copies at midnight and hurry home to enjoy the film all over again in the comfort of their own homes. Additionally, everyone got a card that included the code inside to redeem for a free The Twilight Saga: New Moon cell phone skin, the same presell card that had been handed out for the pre-orders.
