"Twilight" actor Peter Facinelli and director Michael Corrente are in the process of filming the movie "Loosies" in Providence, Rhode Island. The film crew has transformed the Arcade into a New York City subway station.
Scenes for the movie, which Peter Facinelli wrote, have already been filmed in Cranston, RI. In fact, 80% of the movie will be shot in Rhode Island despite the movie actually being set in New York City. Director Michael Corrente also happens to be a Rhode Island native who hails from nearby Pawtucket, RI.
"Loosies" is planned for release in Summer 2011. According to IMDb, the following is the plot of "Loosies":
“A young pickpocket in the New York subways, living a fast, free, lifestyle is confronted by a woman whom he had a one night affair with, she informs him that she is now pregnant with his child, he must now choose between continuing the lifestyle he lead or take responsibility for his actions.”
Peter Facinelli is the 36-year-old actor who plays Carlisle Cullen in the "Twilight Saga." He also appeared in the television series "Fastlane" alongside actress Tiffani Thiessen and comedian Bill Bellamy. Facinelli is married to "Beverly Hills: 90210" star Jennie Garth. He wrote the screenplay for "Loosies" seven years ago prior to his role in "Twilight."
