Peter Dinklage on board for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'

Bryan Singer tweeted that Game of Thornes star Peter Dinklage will join the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past, but the director didn't reveal what role the Emmy winner will be portraying.

Dinklage will co-star alongside James McAvoy, Micheal Fassbender and Jennifer Lawerence, who are returning as Charles Xavier/Professor X, Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto and Raven/Mystique, as well as future counterparts Sirs Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, and Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman, who is back this summer as the best known as The Wolverine.

However, there has been rumors that Oscar winner Halle Berry may reprise her role as Storm, whom she played in the trilogy with Stewart, McKellen, and Jackman.

"I can't say. I don't know yet" Singer told MTV. "And it's not necessarily a deal making aspect at all. I want to make sure it'll make sense. But I love working with her."

Days of Future Past is the sequel to 2011's X-Men: First Class, the prequel that followed the early years of Professor X and Magneto, and how the end of their friendship lead them to be on opposite sides over mutant rights -- and humanity's future--, with Xavier forming the X-Men and Magneto forming the Brotherhood of Mutants.

Days of Future Past is set for release on July 18, 2014.
