Throughout a long career, Escovedo has focused on a vision of contemporary Latin jazz filtered through a pop-tinged prism. His eleven-member group produces a unique and powerful sound, a mixture of African, Brazilian, contemporary Latin, jazz, soul and pop styles.

As a patriarch of a talented musical family, Escovedo also performs with his family of percussion players childen Shelia E, Michael and Pete.

This year's stellar line-up of artists includes:

July 1 Pete Escovedo Latin Jazz Orchestra
July 8 Brian Auger's Oblivion Express
July 15 Jose Rizo's Mongorama
July 22 Karl Denson's Tiny Universe
July 29 Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band

At each concert, guests have the opportunity to enjoy fine wines while nibbling on an assortment of cheeses, fruits and breads prepared by Wolfgang Puck Catering. The entertainment is free. Wine tasting (and assorted sampler box) is $10.00.
