Assistant Store Managers: As a key member of the store leadership team, you will provide critical support to the General Manager in executing and achieving store financial budgets as well as store operation policy and procedures. We’ll also look to you to drive the sales and operation of the store in the absence of the General Manager. This position is directly responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals, profit measures and expense controls, shrink and safety.

Inventory and Pricing Department Managers: Responsible for assisting the General Manager in achieving the store’s budgeted sales and profit goals. Ensure that all merchandise is accurately received, priced, stocked and backroom is maintained per OSE standards.

Cashiers: You will help achieve store sales goals while helping to provide customers with the products they need for happy and healthy pets. We’re looking to you to provide exceptional customer service as you perform all aspects of point of sale service - cash, credit and check sales, returns and exchanges. This means offering quick and courteous response to those customers who choose to shop with us.

Sales Associates: You will help achieve store sales goals while helping to provide customers with the products they need for happy and healthy pets. You will provide quick and courteous service to all customers by determining their needs and sharing product knowledge to suggest the appropriate merchandise to satisfy them. You will also effectively employ suggestive selling techniques to increase sales. This role also involves completing cash register transactions as well as providing customer carry-out service. Some part-time positions are also available.

UNL Sales Associates (Unleashed by Petco): Success in this role requires continually educating yourself on pets, animal nutrition, pet products and services through classes, on-the-job training, and regular product updates. You’ll also support customers and our success by remaining informed about sales promotions and communicating them to meet customer needs.

Aquatics Specialists: Ensure that proper aquatic care and husbandry is being provided to our aquatic life in the store. Act as the primary resource in their assigned store regarding all aquatic life education and care.

Grooming Assistants: Working under the direction of the Pet Stylist, Grooming Salon Manager or General Manager, you will perform basic grooming services on dogs that do not require a haircut as a part of their grooming service. This may include brushing, bathing, cleaning ears and trimming nails.
