Des Moines East Village music venue The House of Bricks (525 East Grand Avenue) will be hosting their annual fundraiser for the Animal Rescue League of Iowa on Friday, January 11. Petapalooza kicks off at 6 p.m. and will be open to all ages until 9 p.m. After 9 p.m., attendees must be 21 or older. The event will feature a number of performances by local bands with all proceeds going to the ARL. Entrance to the benefit will be $5 at the door.
While the complete roster of performers for the event has not yet been announced, here is a look at the preliminary musicians that have signed on for the event:
Blue Haven--progressive rock band from Winterset
Aaron Sinwell--acoustic folk rock performer from Des Moines
The Big Tuxedos--alternative rock band from Des Moines
Pie in the Sky--Central Iowa rock band
