In what shouldn't be surprising to anyone, PETA has set their sights on another star. According to the New York Daily News on Dec. 4, PETA slammed Beyonce for her choice of outfit during her Super Bowl performance.
While most of the country was enjoying one of the better halftime shows in years, as well as the reunion of Destiny's Child, PETA representatives couldn't take their eyes off of Beyonce's body, or at least what was covering it. Beyonce was wearing a leather bodysuit made of python, paneled iguana and leather.
According to PETA, that is a no-no.
PETA released a statement slamming Beyonce, saying that if she ever watched their videos showing how these outfits are made, she would never want to wear anything again made of snakes, lizards or other animals. They then argued that today's fashions are moving towards a vegan theme and Beyonce missed the mark.
This isn't the first time this year that Beyonce has met controversy, as her lip synching at the President's inauguration was also scrutinized. PETA was also on her case there too, as she wore a Christian Dior mink coat while singing there. It seems that Beyonce is on PETA's most wanted list at the moment.
