The dynamic diet duo tied the knot in Los Angeles on October 17, following through on their vow to wait for a wedding until gay couples could legally do so in the state of California.
"We would feel weird taking advantage of a right that's not available to certain citizens of the state we live in," Kristen explained in August.
However, the two already have a 7-month-old daughter, Lincoln. No word yet on whether they'll raise her as a strict vegetarian, but Kristen has admitted that she gained 43 pounds during her pregnancy.
Kristen is losing the baby weight by eating right (veggies, fruits and protein shakes) plus low-impact workouts. But she's not stressed about it.
“I refused to worry about something I could not change, and I still refuse,” she says. “Look, I’m like any other woman. All this evolved b.s. that I’m telling you is my mantra: It’s not something I practice naturally. I had to surrender to not worrying about the way I looked, how much I weighed, because that’s just part of the journey of having a baby. I am not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size.”
And although Kristen is still a vegetarian, Dax recently admitted that he's occasionally strayed from that plant-based food plan.
"I'm really flattered to be named 'Sexiest Vegetarian' with @IMKristenBell, but sadly I can't accept in good conscience because I eat chicken," Dax tweeted soon after finding out about his award.
"I was vegan for a year, but that ended 6 months ago. I aspire to be more like @IMKristenBell, but I'm not there yet," he said in a follow-up tweet.
Of course, marriage just might make the difference in his diet!
