The lights may have gone out in the Superdome on Sunday during the big game, but that still didn't stop PETA, the animal rights group, from taking a closer look at Beyonce's outfit during her half-time show at the Super Bowl. The costume, designed by Rubin Singer, was crafted from Iguana and python skin with additions of black leather and lace.
"Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyonce's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score," PETA issued in a statement to E! News.
The "Countdown" singer nor her team has yet to respond to PETA. She is currently gearing up for her "The Mrs. Carter Show" world tour which kicks off April 15th in Europe.
